The 11th International Toy Library Conference took place at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie in Paris from 13-17 October 2008.
Organised by ALF, in collaboration with ITLA (International Toy Library Association), the theme was " toys and games in toy libraries ".
This event was held for the first time in France with more than 600 participants (toy librarians from all over the world, researchers interested in play and toy libraries, etc.). This conference was an important step in building the identity of those cultural equipments.
